Malaga and Real Oviedo face each other in a highly-anticipted game at Estadio La Rosaleda on day 21 of the new Segunda Division campaign. Los Boquerones do not seem to be at their sharpest at the moment, with the team failing to win the previous four league fixtures. The Andalusians are eager to move a little closer to the playoffs berth, but this match will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts.
Los Carbayones, on the other hand, have been having their ups and downs of late. Following back-to-back wins over Sabadell and Tenerife, they were beaten by Ponferradina at the weekend, with the team sharing the spoils with Mallorca in their last league match. Real Oviedo have been producing fine displays on the travels this season, which is probably the main reason why we predict that they will hold Malaga to a draw at “La Rosaleda”.

David Lomban was born in Aviles, Asturias on 5 June, 1987 and he began his senior career at Valencia. The 185-cm-tall defender played 37 matches for Valencia B and he made no more than three appearances for the first team. After spending the 2009/2010 season on loan at Salamanca, he joined Xerez in 2010 and two years later he signed for Barcelona B.
David Lomban played just one season for the Catalan outfit in Segunda Division and then he decided to take a bigger step towards a brighter future as he joined La Liga side Elche. After making 62 appearances for the club, he signed a three-year contract with Granada on 10 August, 2015. Lomban played 31 games for los Granadinos in the 2015/2016 La Liga campaign, but he failed to find the net for the Andalusian outfit in the top flight.
David Lomban’s contract with Granada expires on 30 June, 2018. Speaking of his international career, the Granada defender has 11 caps for Spain U17 and he played one match for Spain U20 team as well.

Based in Oviedo, Asturias, Real Oviedo is a Spanish club that plays home games at Carlos Tartiere. Carlos Tartiere is one of the biggest stadiums in Segunda division as it can hold up to 30,500 spectators. Los Azules competed in La Liga in the 1990s, but in the 2001/02 campaign they suffered relegation to Segunda Division.
Real Oviedo have not competed in the Spanish top flight ever since. In the 1991/92 season los Azules represented Spain in the UEFA Cup, but Genoa proved to be a big catch for them in the round of 64. Real Oviedo have a rivalry with Sporting Gijon, with the two teams facing each other in the Asturian derby.
